Creamy Guacamole
French influence
The guacamole is one of those Mexican recipes that has managed to cross boarders, due to the numerous variations that it has. Now we are going to focus in the state of Guerrero, where its gastronomy was highly influenced by the French presence and the use of
dairy products in their recipes.
This type of
guacamole consists of a preparation that is very similar to the original with the difference that is mixed with cream. In this way
a more subtle, soft and harmonious guacamole is obtained – that will captivate you with each bite.

About the Recipe
- The preparation of the creamy guacamole is very simple, you only have to cut and mix.
- You can prepare the cream that is used in the recipe and in this way your guacamole will have better flavor.
- The guacamole will be ready in 10 minutes.
- This preparation is for 2 cups.
Ingredients
2 Avocados (17.6 oz)
1 cup of Mexican Cream (8.8 oz)
1 Serrano Pepper (.4 oz)
1/2 Tomato (3.5 oz)
1/4 of an Onion (1.2 oz)
2 Coriander sprigs (.7 oz)
1/2 tablespoon of Salt
Cookware
1 Bowl
1 Cutting Board
1 Mixing Spatula
1 Knife
1 Fork
Directions
Perform some Activities
- Dice 1/4 of an onion and 1/2 tomato; then reserve.
- Remove the veins and the seeds of 1 serrano pepper.
- Finely chop the serrano pepper with the one you worked and 2 coriander sprigs; then reserve.
- Scoop out the pulp of 2 avocados and put it in a bowl; reserve 1 avocado pit.
- Mash with a fork the avocados’ pulp that was put in the bowl, until having the consistency of a puree.
- Add in the bowl 1 cup of Mexican cream and mix very well the ingredients with a mixing spatula.
Mix the Ingredients
- Also add in the bowl, along with the other ingredients:
- The Onion dices that were cut.
- The Tomato dices that were cut.
- The Chili that was minced.
- The Coriander that was minced.
- 1/2 tablespoon of Salt.
- Mix very well the bowl ingredients with the mixing spatula.
- Insert in the creamy guacamole the avocado pit that was reserved.

*This guacamole will last a very short time, the best thing that can be done is to eat it
immediately.
Variation: The guacamole can also be prepared in the version of
salsa.
